Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H200: manual and user guide

Getting started

Batteries Open the cover and insert the four AA batteries, matching the + and – signs. It takes LR6 alkalines or HR6 Ni-MH. Lithium, manganese and Ni-Cd batteries are not compatible.
Charging For rechargeables, use HR6 Ni-MH batteries, sold separately. Never mix new and used batteries, or two different types. Below 5 °C, it may switch off without warning.
Card Insert the card the right way round, notched corner first, until it clicks. For video: Memory Stick PRO Duo Mark2, or SD or SDHC Class 4 or higher. Memory Stick Micro and microSD need an adapter. Otherwise, 55 MB of internal memory.
Switching on for the first time Press ON/OFF: it asks for the language, your area, then the date format, daylight saving time and the date. Confirm with [OK] and follow the screens.
Your first photo Set the mode dial to Intelligent Auto Mode. Press halfway: a beep confirms focus. Then press fully. In Movie Mode, the shutter button starts then stops the video.

Three dial positions to get started: Intelligent Auto Mode, Sweep Panorama and Movie Mode. Manual exposure is there too.
In 1280 × 720 Fine video, a take stops at around 20 minutes, because a file can't exceed 2 GB.
Take the batteries out if you won't be using it for a long time.
