Pentax Optio W10: second-hand, tested and checked
A 2006 Pentax compact built for rain, the beach and the pool: 6 MP, 3x zoom and macro from 1 cm.
The W10 keeps its lens inside the body, behind a glass window: nothing extends when you switch it on, and sand has nothing to get into. Pentax rated it waterproof for 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 m (JIS class 8 standard) and dustproof (class 5). Two modes are for use underwater, one for photos, the other for video. Out of the water, its 6 MP CCD sensor gives the look of mid-2000s compacts, and its macro goes down to 1 cm from the subject.

Condition: tested and checked
We tested it in the workshop: the camera is working. It switches on and the screen shows the image, as in the photo of the back. Light signs of use on the body.
Waterproofing not tested. The manual says to have the cover seal replaced once a year, and this one is as old as the camera. In the rain or by the water, it has nothing to fear. Before diving, have the seal checked or replaced.
