A selection of second-hand vintage lenses in Canon FD, Nikon F, Pentax K, Olympus OM, Minolta MD and M42 screw mounts. Lenses designed when flaws were corrected less by calculation, hence their character.
Understanding this category
On a recent mirrorless cameraAlmost all these mounts fit with an adapter ring: you lose autofocus, you keep the optical character.
On a film cameraThe mount has to match exactly. It’s stated on every product page.
Fungus firstEach lens is inspected under raking light (dust, haze, scratches, fungus), then its aperture and rings are checked.
