Sun Zoom MC Macro 80-200mm f/4.5: second-hand, tested and checked
A 1980s Japanese telephoto zoom in Minolta MD mount, f/4.5 across the whole range, with its pouch and both caps.
An 80-200 mm covers tight portraits, sport from the stands and landscape details. On this Sun, the aperture stays at f/4.5 from 80 to 200 mm: when you zoom, the shutter speed doesn’t change. The coloured curves on the barrel show the depth of field at f/11 and f/22 for each focal length. The bayonet engraved M/MD fits Minolta SR, MC and MD SLRs (X-300, X-700, XG, SRT…), and mirrorless cameras with a Minolta MD adapter ring.
Features
- 80-200 mm telephoto zoom, constant f/4.5 aperture
- Multi-coated (MC), Macro marking on the front
- Aperture from f/4.5 to f/22

Condition: tested and checked
We tested it in the workshop: the lens is working. Greenish marks on the rear knurled ring, near the bayonet (last photo). Light signs of use on the barrel.
